Ben Turner, MS, LPCA
I work well with clients who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or just on the edge of something life-altering—people who sense that traditional therapy isn’t quite cutting it. I specialize in helping individuals who carry unspoken tension between who they’ve had to be and who they might become, especially those navigating issues of identity, self-worth, shame, unresolved trauma, and deep existential unrest.
My ideal clients are those ready to go beneath the surface. They may not have the words for what’s wrong, but they’re willing to sit in the unknown long enough for something real to emerge. I work especially well with clients who are intense, reflective, or who have felt like outsiders.
My approach is rooted in presence, process, and transformation. Drawing from Jungian depth psychology, hypnosis, symbolic language work, existential philosophy, and systems theory, I help people contact the deeper self that’s been buried beneath performance, protection, or persona. Therapy with me is not about symptom reduction—it’s about integration, honesty, and radical inner movement.
I often work with adults, creatives, spiritual seekers, and those who have been in therapy before but felt unseen. I also welcome anyone who’s ready to confront the deeper roots of their pain, even if it’s terrifying.
If this doesn’t sound like you, rest assured that I enjoy challenging myself as a therapist and have also gained experience working with families, couples, and a variety of mental health and substance use disorders. I’m open to working with anyone who is looking for personal growth and healing.
Therapy with me is relational, disruptive, and alive. It’s not about offering solutions—it's about helping you become someone who no longer needs them in the same way. My hope is that clients leave with more truth, more wholeness, and the courage to live as who they really are—even if they don’t yet know who that is.
